Co-Chairs' letter on GA informal review sessions on FfD (New York, 10-12 March 2008)

The Co-Facilitators of the preparatory process for the Follow-up International Conference on Financing for Development to Review the Implementation of the Monterrey Consensus, Ambassador Johan Lovald of Norway and Ambassador Maged Abdelaziz of Egypt, issued a letter regarding the modalities of the General Assembly informal review sessions on Chapter V of the Monterrey Consensus, "External debt", and Chapter VI, "Addressing systemic issues: enhancing the coherence and consistency of the international monetary, financial and trading systems in support of development", to be held on 10-12 March 2008 at UN Headquarters in New York.
All preparatory meetings are open to participation by all non-governmental organizations that are in consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council and by all non-governmental organizations and business sector entities accredited to the Monterrey Conference or to its follow-up process. All relevant stakeholders are invited to actively contribute to the preparatory process leading up to the Review Conference.
